Iron Pour t-shirt from the Wayne Potratz Archive..This exhibit recognizes the significant work and impact of Professor Emeritus Wayne Potratz. Potratz started the Iron Pour events at the University of Minnesota in 1969.

Iconic t-shirts from the Wayne Potratz Archive will be featured in this exhibit documenting the Iron Pour events at the University of Minnesota. Also included are selected materials related to 45 years of the growth of the iron casting movement.

This exhibit is one part of the 50th anniversary celebration. Additional events include an iron pour, workshops, an exhibit in the Nash Gallery, visiting artists, and more.

What: Wayne Potratz Archive: Selections from the Collection
When: April 22 through May 17, 2019
Where: Wilson Library, fourth floor
Hours: Open during regular building hours at Wilson Library

Exhibit reception

The exhibit reception takes places Thursday, May 2, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., at Wilson Library, fourth floor. The event includes a dedication and talk by Nor Hall, author of Irons in the Fire.
