ONLINE: Systematic Reviews and Evidence Synthesis in Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences

This workshop will cover an introduction to evidence synthesis reviews including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scoping reviews, and evidence gap maps. Participants will learn the requirements for each type of review as well as the amount of time reviews take to complete and the ideal team composition for undertaking such a project. Topics covered will also include protocols and registries, evidence synthesis tools, and how to work with a librarian to create a comprehensive and reproducible search strategy. Examples used and recommendations given will be specific to food, agricultural, and natural resource sciences. This workshop is ideal for researchers and graduate students who are new to or considering evidence synthesis reviews.
