Can I bring my book group/the scout group/a class?

Groups of ten or more should schedule with the CLRC department by emailing asc-clrc@umn.edu. We welcome classes, book groups, writers and authors, teachers and librarians, cohorts and professional development teams. All are welcome.

Is this exhibit okay for children?

Darren Terpstra, Exhibit Director with Poky Little Puppy

Yes and no. It is most appropriate for visitors over ten-years-old. Yet, recently we had a few younger visitors who were fascinated by the original art as well as the the featured elements of books that we love and the the sharing of how children’s books are part of our lives and history.

How long should I plan to spend in the exhibit?

At least two hours. Most visitors wish that they had more time to pore over the materials and read Leonard S. Marcus’s commentary.
