Dog Day at the Library

When Atilla the Hen (Tilly) visited Wilson Library on December 8, she wasn’t here to study or check out books. Instead Tilly was on site along with half a dozen therapy dogs to support students as part of the Pet Away Worry and Stress (PAWS) program, provided by Boynton Health Service.

Every year before final exams, the Libraries offers Stress Busters, a group of activities designed to help students relax and take study breaks. Time spent with PAWS therapy animals is just one way we’re helping students unwind. Additional activities include coloring, kinetic sand, button making, spirographs, origami, chair massages, virtual reality, and tasty snacks.

Check out the schedule to learn more about upcoming Stress Busters activities across our library locations.
