About the Exhibit

Knowing where our food comes from and understanding the processes that bring it to our tables are part of current trends in food culture. Many of the foods we enjoy today, however, have a global history, even those grown locally.

This exhibit will explore the global history of the foods we eat in the United States and also the American origins of foods that have become staples elsewhere in the world. The exhibit will feature items from the James Ford Bell Library.
