While 3D images can be excellent tools for enhancing your human anatomy studies, sometimes there is nothing more powerful than holding an anatomical model in your hands.

The Bio-Medical Library has a variety of highly detailed anatomical models available for use to aid you in your anatomy studies.

How Can Hands-On Experience Help You?

Getting your hands on a 3D representation allows you to better visualize, explore, and explain the internal and external structures of human body systems.  Our anatomical models capture the complex and multi-faceted components of the human body, giving you a hands-on experience that can aid in individual study, teaching, and scientific demonstration.

Searching for Anatomical Models

To find or browse anatomical models in the Libraries catalog, search MNCAT Discovery from the Bio-Medical Library’s homepage.  In the search box, use the keywords “Models, Anatomic.”

If there is a particular model you’re looking for, try adding it to your keyword search.  For example, searching “heart anatomical model” will retrieve results for models of the heart.

In the search results, look for results that show “TC Bio-Medical Library Reserve (2nd Flr Circ Desk)” as the status.  Ask at the Bio-Medical Library reference desk for assistance
