reserve-a-room-bannerThe purpose of the Campus Club of the University of Minnesota is to facilitate and enhance the missions and activities of the University community. The club provides a common, informal gathering place, a place for broad community interaction, rooms for social and business meetings, and facilities for dining and receptions.

Founded in 1911, the club is a 501(c)(7) non-profit membership organization. Current membership is approximately 1500. The majority of members are University faculty, staff, and departments/units. Other categories include alumni, parents, students, Regents, retirees, and corporations. Membership is open to any person or entity with a bona fide relationship with the University of Minnesota.

A Feast of Words featuring Brenda Child

Brenda Child, Professor of American Studies at the University of Minnesota, highlights the January 29 Feast of Words event at the Campus Club. In her talk, “Speaking Ojibwe in the Great Lakes: From Reservations to Revitalization,” Child shares family narratives and historical documents that show the essential role of the Ojibwe language in the past and today.
