About Nicole Allen
Nicole Allen is OER Program Director at SPARC where she is expanding SPARC’s efforts to include Open Educational Resources (OER). SPARC, or the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition, is an international alliance of academic and research libraries working to create a more open system of scholarly communication.
Before joining SPARC, Nicole was already established as a leading figure in the OER movement through her role at the Student PIRGs, where she directed a national campaign to combat the rising cost of college textbooks.
