Penumbra Theatre at 40 opens at Minnesota History Center

The Libraries’ Cecily Marcus spoke at the February 17 opening reception for “Penumbra at 40: Art, Race and a Nation on Stage” — the Minnesota History Center’s wonderful new exhibit. The exhibit runs through July 30.

Marcus is curator of our Givens Collection of African American Literature, which provided many of the materials for the exhibit.
