What the Fluxus is a two-part exhibition celebrating the visual, literary, and performing artists that traversed an internationally critical cultural and political period during the 1960s. These artists challenged how art was made, perceived, and experienced.
Complementing the Ballet de Lorraine Northrop Dance event, the exhibits feature the intersection of dancer/choreographer Merce Cunningham with a formidable group of artists who were merging their aesthetics while championing concepts of dance, impermanence, and the banal.
