Bitten! Climate Change & Insect-Borne Disease, a traveling exhibit from Yale University’s Peabody Museum of Natural History, will be featured at the University of Minnesota Libraries’ Natural Resources Library March 28 through April 29, 2016. 

The exhibit covers the following topics: 

  • Global climate change and microclimates
  • Effects of climate change on vectors and pathogens
  • Contributing factors of habitat destruction, land use, global trade and travel, urbanization and poverty
  • Illustrative case studies (dengue, chikungunya, avian malaria)

The principal investigator for this project is Leonard E. Munstermann, Yale School of Public Health. and the traveling panel exhibition is funded from a National Institutes of Health Science Education Partnership Award.
